Today I scouted this iPhone 4 beauty from local craigslist for $80. It is in perfect condition. I remembered many years ago I bought my first iPhone 4 for $700 and later traded it up for $200. So this $80 is quite a bargain. It is small, fully functional, great battery life, and guess what? It runs the Name Badge app, even with our latest release 2.0. You can walk around the event venue holding this little beauty, and quickly register all your guests. Another perk... if you lost it, you won't cry too much. ;)

With literally unlimited templates included in the Name Badge Check-In app, we missed this template that allows you to incorporate your logo on the badge. Thanks to our customer from Netherlands, we will attach this template for you to download. The template is created by simply duplicating the default template, replace the HELLO image, and allocate the upper left corner for your logo. This template also demonstrates one of the 2.0 new features, that changes the guest name, and company name to upper cases. Once you download the template, upload your black & white logo to your photo album, go to settings, choose and edit the new template, select Field 2, and tap image, and replace the image with the one you just uploaded. Yes, that's it. Note: to enter and display Guest's company name, use the description field on the check-in screen.
We are happy to announce the release of Name Badge 2.0. With an optional BYO cloud server or private server, it is now supporting multi-users. It is also more robust in label printing with multiple users and a single QL printer. We also added many template features and fixed all the known bugs. All your previous settings, event databases, will be preserved. However, we do suggest that you backup your data and start from scratch for your next event. For those of you prefer single user mode, it will be mostly transparent. The big difference will be the image/icon now appearing on your event menu. For those who wish to test the multi-users mode using our server, please contact us. In the meantime, just imagine: A staff of 4 can now easily manage 500 guests with just one printer while having a spare iPad connected to Apple TV, displaying guest's name and photo as s/he arrives. Check out our server-in-a-box for rent for as little as $100 per event, limited time only. If you live near Los Angeles area, we can give you a live demo at your location.
